Clothing/Make-up Haul!!

I WENT SHOPPING!!!!! So I wanted to share all my awesome finds with you guys. I bought some makeup and clothing so let's just get into it starting with all the beauty/makeup.
Here is the first beauty/makeup item. The Biore Charcoal Bar. So I needed a mild cleanser for my face just to wash it in the morning and this does the job perfectly. It smells like peppermint and leaves my face squeaky clean and it smells like a candy cane afterwards. It's really gentle and I'm just hooked.
Next I picked up these Physician Formula Waterproof Eyeliners. So I've been using these for about three days and I'm 50/50. They don't stay on as long as I would have hope especially for waterproof. My Urban Decay 24/7 stays on better but they do stay on my waterline perfectly!!! Which is why I got them so I'm satisfied. If you're looking for a waterline eyeliner I definitely recommend these.
Last in the beauty/makeup is this Hard Candy green pallete. I want to buy a more expensive palate just like this from Sephora but I'm not sure how I feel about greens so I want to try these out before I go spend money on the more expensive one.
And here is my clothing haul(pardon the ugly blanket, hotel life is hard.) I decided to take a group picture and just tell you where everything is from. The boots are Steve Madden and were on sale for $25, the jacket is Noisy May and was on sale for $40 I think, the sunglasses are from Aldo(they have interchangeable sides which is awesome) and were on sale for $5, the grey shirt is Buffalo and was $18, the All Eyes On Me was $16 from Winners, the purple peplum was from Winners as well and was $12, and the grey sweatpants were from Winners and were $16.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post and much as I enjoyed making it! ~Alex

Coconut Oil Day!!

Okay so today I decided to give myself a little pampering. I love putting coconut oil in my hair. It helps keep my scalp and hair moist and healthy plus it's supposed to help stimulate growth(here's hoping anyway). I'm in the process of growing out my hair so if it's supposed to help growth I'm all for it.
I also tried something new today, oil pulling. I've been hearing all great things about it so I decided why not? Oil pulling is the process of swishing coconut oil around your mouth for 20 minutes. It's supposed to work wonders. Here are a few supposed benefits.
Today is the first time I've tried it so let's see what happens. If any of you have tried it let me know? Did you like it? Did it work? I'm so curious about it.

Pakistan

In honour of throwback Thursday I thought I would throwback to my trip to Pakistan last spring! My family and I stopped into Pakistan on our way to Europe to visit my dads side of the family. It had been about 6 years since the last time we'd been there so I didn't remember that much about it. It was a great trip though I loved seeing all my family, I have over 50 cousins and around 16-17 aunts and uncles. There's definitely never a dull moment! My grandparents live out in the country in a little village so we have to drive from Islamabad(capital city) to the village which takes around 6 hours. Not my favorite part of the trip I'll have to admit, after flying for almost 24 hrs a 6 hr drive is the last thing you want to do. I usually just stick on some music and sleep. Once we get to the village our whole GIANT family is waiting at our grandparents house to meet us which is amazing yet kind of overwhelming because of how many people there are. Plus I mean we look awful from all the traveling so the last thing you want to do is be surrounded by people you haven't seen in years. I love being out in the country though, we have a huge wheat field in the back and I love to go out there. It's the most relaxing place in the whole house.  They don't have stoves so we have to cook on fire, which for 2-3 weeks is actually fun but I don't think I could do it forever. My grandparents also have tons of chickens and goats so naturally we have baby chicks and baby goats every time we go and they are absolutely precious. One of the biggest downsides of the village is that there are no toilets. This is literally the worst because all we have is a hole in the ground where you squat. Luckily they have toilet paper which kind of helps make the squat hole a tiny bit better. Going to Pakistan definitely makes me appreciate my very blessed life I have here. We take so many things for granted, simple things like stoves and actual toilets. Many people in the village can hardly afford food for their families let alone luxuries like tvs, iPhones, and computers. It's a very humbling and eye opening experience to see just how blessed we all are to have all these normal everyday luxuries that people over there will never have. My parents and I actually started a school in our village for all the girls and boys who couldn't afford to pay for school and it is thriving! We have over 100 kids and growing. I will be writing a post on our visit to the school soon.  Here are some pics from our trip I hope you guys enjoy them!

Here is myself and two of my favourite little cousins.

Okay so here is the second part of my clothing haul, sorry it took so long but I lost some receipts and I needed to know the prices of everything for the post. I basically spent these last few days tearing my house apart looking for them and luckily I found them all so let's get into it.

Also from Old Navy I got this adorable denim tank-like top for $3 and it was regularly $29.99
This outfit from Joe Fresh was regularly $55 and I got it for $10. I was so excited about finding white jeans because I've been looking for a pair foreve.
Lastly, I got this blue top from Old Navy, I thought it would look great with my new jeans. It was regularly $16 and I got it for $5

So that is the conclusion to my clothing haul, let me know which outfit was your favorite down below!

Vega Protein Powder Review

Hey guys,
Today my post is just a quick review on the plant based protein powder from Vega. So I bought this recently to try and get more protein in my smoothies because I don't like whey protein at all but I don't like to have a smoothie without some protein. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked it the only one I would say I like more is the Hemp protein powder but it has less protein per serving so the vega wins there. It gives you 20 grams of protein per serving which I love. It blends perfectly into my smoothie and gives me all the veggies that I'm missing in my smoothie. I tried the vanilla but I've also heard the chocolate is amazing. If anyone has tried it let me know how you liked it. I love the amount of vegetables you get in this protein powder I just feel like that's a really nice addition to a protein powder. I would definitely recommend this protein powder to anyone in the market for one.
